Eco-park Reniala in Majunga

Eco-park Reniala in Majunga

Located at the entrance of the city of Majunga , the Eco-park Reniala welcomes a whole diversity of fauna and flora endemic to Madagascar.

Open over an area of 25 ha, the site is located on the edge of Bombetoka Bay and its mangroves.

You can admire some species in captivity such as lemurs (Eulemur, Propithecus, etc.), turtles, ostriches, crocodiles, snakes and endemic birds (Ankoay). You have to be early to be able to observe the Capuchins of Madagascar (the smallest birds on the island)

On the flora side, baobabs line the property and the botanical reserve highlights the plants and their medicinal specificities. A baobab over 1500 years old is also to be discovered.

The Reniala association, whose goal is to conserve the country's species, organizes thematic tours. The ride is done by zebu cart.
