Lake Tritriva sits atop Mount Tritriva in central Madagascar not far from Antsirabé. Perched at an altitude of 1950 meters, its deep and opaque waters, with their particular blue-green, are the subject of many mysteries and beliefs. Tritriva Lake is located in an area conducive to hiking and biking, on the mountainous tracks that cross the surrounding rice fields and tiny rural villages.
