Terrestrial National Park classified as a World Heritage Site , low altitude evergreen dense humid forest (400-800 m) and medium altitude evergreen humid dense forest (800-1200 m), habitat of lemurs Propithecus diadema diadema, (Simpona), Eulemur fulvus fulvus , and the gecko Paroedura masobe. But also Dypsis fibrosa and Pygeum africanum.

  • It is 20 km as the crow flies from the Lake Alaotra region and 50 km as the crow flies from the Indian Ocean.
